Omar A. Oyarzabal

I am an Associate Professor for the Ph.D. program in Microbiology in the Department of Biological Sciences at Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL. My office and laboratory are located in the new Life Sciences Building (virtual tour of campus). I am currently advising two Ph.D. students. Our research focuses are on the detection, identification, subtyping and control of Campylobacter in poultry meat. We are always looking for students interested in Campylobacter research, so please contact me if you are interesting in learning more about our program or our research.
